Shooting Team

It was a sunny weekend for the regimental shooting team on the last training weekend before the start of the competition season. Next weekend we'll see the team compete in the Brigade Operational Shooting Competition (BOSC) and try to keep hold of their winning title for a second year in a row.

Straight after BOSC, we see the team heading off to South Africa to compete in the very first set of international competitions which is an exciting experience for the team and for the regiment.

In total, the team have four competitions in the space of two months, followed by more training weekends, a shooting camp, and the extremely popular Army Operational Shooting Competition which takes place at the National Rifle Association Headquarters, Bisley.

It's looking like a busy year for the team!
