This weekend, our Regimental Shooting Team competed in the inter-corps shooting competition which were held at Pirbright ranges in Surrey.

After a long weekend and a number of arduous shoots, each comprising of different firing positions, varying sprinting distances, and a competitive scoring system, the team proudly ranked 3rd amongst all the different capbadges who were attending.

They also won awards for 'best four man fire team', as well as achieving the top score in a few of the shoots. Two members also ranked in the Top 6 firers in the Royal Logistic Corps, earning themselves a glass tankard which was promptlu filled with a refreshing beverage.

After the final shoot of the competition, the team paid a visit to the 'special weaponry stand' where they were able to examine a number of different weapon systems.
